I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME

On Friday, I had a bit of time before cell group as I came home after school to get my allergy medicine. And so I decided to do something fun for Reid:

HEHEHEHEHE. :D

If there’s one blessing that I will always thank God for, it is him…
Through good times and those little obstacles, I know his love is always true.
For that, I thank You, Lord
That You’ve given me above and beyond what I could have ever asked for
June 2nd marks our official half a year.
Flash of an eye, and six months will have passed by.
I’m glad to have someone with whom to share the same hopes and dreams and visions
I’m glad to have someone with whom I can be my craziest with
I’m glad to have someone with whom I can laugh with, cry with and not be afraid of being judged
Thank You God, for Your love, that we may be able to love each other so
Use us, and make us an example
My dear, I love you
Thank you for your love
“I love you, so many times I’ve said, but I’ll never stop even if I was paid”
:) I know, dear, and neither will I ever stop
My SCHC, I LOVE YOU!

After service on Sunday, Reid and I went down to SMU to do my surveys. He accompanied me all the way, so thank you dear!

SMU had some walls where students are allowed to use their creativity to decorate…

This wall is really interesting. As the students decorate the walls with white swirls and lines, they document their process at the same time by writing personal thoughts or things they did at a particular time.

After a really warm and humid day, we made our way to my home. (The plan which I had initially planned was changed. Hahah. Well more on that some other time)

After checking out some stuff online, we set off to the kitchen to prepare our feast! :)

My super chef! :)

Our “feast”! Fries, fish fillet, seaweed chicken, hotdogs, potato vegetable soup! And a tealight for ambience! (little help it gave though :\)

All hot and sweaty after cooking!

This was the shirt I eventually decided to make for him after racking my brains for a really long time! He looks sooo adorable in it! I’m gonna make one for myself too. :)

As always when we spend time together, time passed too quickly…

:|

Heh. All right, I’ve been typig this post since Sunday night and have only completed it now – Tuesday afternoon! I’m in lecture now actually but I’m really tired cos I stayed up till 3.30am compiling PR survey results (and I’m not done yet) and am therefore feeling very lethargic. The thought of the work that I have to face tonight and the rest of the week gives me a sickened feeling.
But ah well, just got to grit my teeth and go through it! :D

Fine… My mind’s not thinking… I might not be making much sense. I better stop!

Gud-bye

Yesterday was Reid’s birthday! Because he has camp and I have school, we only went out for a dinner to celebrate. We’ll have a real one on Sunday! :D

Yes! We were at Citylink’s New York New York! The service there is really good by the way. More on that later!

Our food!

Mine: Bratwursts wrapped with melted cheese and bacon. :D

His: Premium quality fish & chips :D

AND THEN SUDDENLY,

They burst out of no where!
(Although we had a glimpse of the lady holding the plate of cotton candy.)

They started singing Happy Birthday and making happy sounds with their little instruments…

They really caught us by surprise!

If you do notice something, I can explain! :P Hee.
But anyhow, look at the pretty little cotton candy “cake”! So unique!

Take a closer look at it!

Making a wish… (uhm, wishes)
Oops, did not rotate it.

We tried to put the heart shaped eyes of the cotton candy girl in between our lips…

… But failed so we put them on our tongues instead!

Sharing a strip of cotton candy! :DD

We compressed the cotton candy into balls! And what did we get? Try it for yourself! (you must really squish it real tightly together)
*WARNING* MIGHT GET SUGAR HIGH

Yummilicious

Melted cotton candy… With an M&M inside! :)

And we bid them farewell…

Needless to say, both of us had a wonderful time. Like I was saying, the service from the staff at Citylink’s NYNY is really commendable. Their staff were attentive, enthusiastic about their work and were extremely friendly as well. They got us good seats, served our food quite quickly (and with a smile), sang happy birthday for Reid in such a fun and creative manner!, attended to our needs, were comfortable with having friendly chats with us… Well, if you got the time, you could go down there for a meal.

So anyway, the night ended too soon, and we had to go home. But it’s ok! Come Sunday, we’ll have a GREEEAT celebration!

Happy 22nd birthday my Remarkable Reid! It’s your first birthday spending with me… And there’ll be more to come… Many many many more…
How long, one might ask? Till eternity. :) Oh, people might laugh, but they can laugh all they want. ;)

I LOVE YOU MY DEAR! :DD
Thank you, for everything… You will know what I mean by everything. ;)

:D

Yesterday was Mother’s Day. As Reid and I both had dinners to attend, we decided to postpone his birthday celebration to next Sunday instead. Went down to P.S. to get the rest of his present materials and I walked around Spotlight for a bit. Saw some rather nice materials. I bought a metre of a certain design. When I have time, I’ll go make a dress out of it. And when I do have time, I’ll go for sewing classes. :)

Had dinner with my family at Lai Lai restaurant. It’s a Taiwanese restaurant at Liang Seah Street that specialises in beef noodles. Which is really good by the way.

I can’t wait to take out my braces. I think I’ll be able to do in in one or two months time. :DD

And well, I cannot wait for this sem to be over.

Gosh.

Well, more pictures to make me feel better. :\

When he realised there were scratch marks on my arm. No idea how they came about. After I came home and had a nap, they all disappeared. :|

Someone has a mua-chee stuffed mouth!

We thought the self timer wasn’t working.

Heeee. :)) I love him a lot. ;))
My Remarkable Reid. :))

It feels like there is nothing I can do anymore. And yet I know there is still more stuff to be covered.

Why oh why are things so stressful…

Why is it that there’re always so many things to do yet so little time?

I’m so tired – I’m really really tired. Mentally and physically.

Yet I have to push myself to finish my work in the next few hours.

Or I’ll be done for.

I know I’ll finish it in time.

I know it.

It’s just the process that’s really grueling.

It’s the thought that after this assignment, there’re still tons more.

And not to mention a test that’s coming up in a few days’ time.

-.-

I know I musn’t give up. And I won’t.

It’s just all so…

Draining…………

:(

Well, no, it’s not Sunday yet (unfortunately.)

It’s only Tuesday… It’s past midnight and I’m still stuck with my iBook, completing my ASSignments. I’m already looking forward to the weekends. Especially Sunday. :DD
Omg Sunday, you’re my favourit-est day of all. Cos I get to wake up later than usual and go to sleep without having the dreadful feeling that I have school the next day. And of course, Sundays are Remarkable Reid’s RR! :)) and my official date days. When we can really spend some good quality time together. So I really treasure Sundays a lot. Thank God He made Sundays, huh? :)

Today, I was racking my brains trying to think of something to make for RR’s birthday. I tell you, I really racked my brains. Hahaha. Then on the way home on the bus, I GOT AN IDEA! Hahaha, of course I’m not gonna say anything. (I don’t think he’ll read this though, he doesn’t even update his blog anymore! :P) Maybe I might post pictures after Sunday. :)

Thank God I’m not feeling too tired tonight. I still have some energy to do my work. The past few nights, I felt reaaally tired and couldn’t really push myself to do too much.

Actually, I’m really looking forward to Friday. Brand critique assignment will be due by then. I will be so relieved. Cos it’s always a nagging thought at the back of my mind. Have I finished enough today? Are there research I’m missing out? Have I surveyed enough people? Do I have enough time to finish it by Friday? Am I on the right track? My gosh… It’s tiring on the mind, trust me. And more so when you’ve got other assignments to worry about. But that would mean that I gotta really make myself FOCUS and FINISH up my work. Like soon. Like before Friday.

Well, On Labour Day, Reid and I made our own lunch! We were supposed to go for a picnic but because of some unforseen circumstances (:)) it got a bit to late to go for one. So we made creamed sauce spaghetti together. :)

Ok. Off I should go… :|

I’m looking forward to Sunday like a little girl looking forward for her long-awaited Disney Land trip.

It’s only Monday and I’m looking forward to the weekends already.
Mostly cos something exciting is going to happen on Sunday! :))
I’m gonna be celebrating Reid’s birthday with him (which would be three days early actually) and I’m really excited cos I’m gonna make it fun and special!
As of now, he does not know where the location of the celebration is. I’m gonna give him an envelope of clues which he would only open on Sunday itself. Hahaha, I’m so excited! :)

Ok, so school’s been really… There’s no word to describe it. The workload IS here. It’s getting tiring and mundane. But this is my final year already. My final semester of projects, exams and such. And then next sem it’s off to the industry for our attachment. I’m starting to feel tired quite a lot. There are days when I turn off the alarm and head back to bed to snooze for a bit before dragging myself out of bed and to the showers. Gosh, I gotta find my energy and zest back. Where’s that excitement I felt at the start of the semester?!

Today the NP CHC peeps had a PM in school. Was really quite good. Not too bad a start to get the ball rolling this year. And we had 29 (just one more to 30!) people – more than we’ve ever had, I think. ;)

All right. Off I go!
