:D
I’m a very happy girl today – even though I’m really tired ‘cos I slept for only three hours the night before. Med law! Argh.
Today, R and I had Billy Bombers at Cathay and then we caught KUNGFU PANDA. :)
Beyond the humour, there are lessons that can be learnt from the movie, which makes it all the more meaningful. :)
Today was indescribable. :) It was just a simple, fun and sweet day.
Thank God, thank you, thank God for you… ;)

The line on the lid of my left eye is deepening… My eyelids are trying to shut and my brain is forcing them not to… Oh my, how I long for my head to hit my soft, shampoo-smelling pillow…
Snore…
Dribble
Dribble…

This morning, I dragged myself out of bed at 5.45am. During the conference at Suntec, I was really struggling to keep myself awake.
12 hours later, day one of the conference ended.
Oh, I digress at this point. Did I mention that my feet were in PAIN the whole morning? See, I put on my pair of three inches after months of not touching them – thinking they should have been seasoned by now and would therefore not cause any pain to my feet. BUT I WAS SO WRONG. I got blisters by the time I arrived at Cityhall MRT and the four plasters I put on did not help at all! By afternoon, I finally understood what people mean when they say their feet are killing them. I could hardly walk straight. So during a half an hour tea break I went to get a pair of flats. The funny thing is that this pair of heels never gave me that much trouble. It was never this painful before, argh! Ok… I just had to let it out, huh…
Went for bowling at Marina Centre with Mehul, Sahira and Mok after that, but I didn’t play though.
Pictures.

Oh, Mehul and Mok had some waitering training in the evening hence their similar outfits. Haha, just kidding. Them dressing up similarly was unintentional.

Group shot!

What’s your story, morning glory?
At the end of this race, all of us will have a story to tell. For it to be interesting, the story will have to have a mix of everything – happiness, sadness, pain, suffering, anger, disappointment, failure, success, etc…
And I believe that the more one experiences in life, the greater he / she will experience fulfillment at the end of it all.
So why is that we sometimes despise the situations that we are in? We let negative thoughts get to us and eat us all up inside and we miss out on the fact that no matter how dark and deep a valley we walk through, there is always an end to our trials.
No one is perfect – and mistakes and bad things happen to help us learn.

Last Sunday, Yuanxing suddenly turned to me and said I should write a book about the games Reid and I play… I was a bit stumped at first. It sounded so juvenile! Hahah… But I thought about it… And I realise we do play a lot of “games”! Hahaha… Maybe I’ll come up with a list one day.
Yesterday was a “Girl’s Day Out” for me, like how Reid put it. I just meant to buy a piece of formal wear for the Radio Asia Conference next Monday but I ended up buying two other dresses, having a manicure, trimming my fringe and going to the library. By the way, I’m quite upset with my fringe. I told the auntie (wasn’t an auntie, but who cares) not to cut it too short because I wanted to sweep it to the side but I ended up having the China doll look I had four months ago. Though not as short, but still quite bad. To me that is… It’s a good thing my fringe seems to grow pretty fast, unlike the rest of my hair. So my dear fringe, please, GROW OUT!
Well, one good thing she did though, was to thicken my fringe. As I have very thin and very little hair, my fringe tends too look very little as well. So, she cut me more fringe. Ok, good job on that. :)
Guess what… It’s the weekends again. With Radio Asia next week and work to be completed before the hols end, I can almost taste the end of the holiday sweetness… Just after less than a week!

This is us, having Popeye’s at Changi Airport’s T3.

This is us, having Happy Cup at Cineleisure.

This is us, last Sunday at The Balcony.

For sure. :)
“It started out as a feeling which then grew into a hope;”
The past week was eventful. :) This week however did not start out too great but I’ve learnt much from all that has happened. It’s amazing how God can always turn these bad situations for the better. :)
Today Deir (hehe, spelt backwards) and I caught Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Movie was great. Wonderful. Thumbs-up. And the song at the end of the movie was awesome. The Call by Regina Spektor. It’s the kind of songs that gives you the inspiring kind of feeling.
We’ve started a new thing. For the rest of the year (or our lives, if you will), we will constantly spring surprises on each other. I proposed this idea to Reid last night and today, he sprung a surprise for me! Hehehehe. :) It was sweet (literally?), but details shall remain private. :) Today while in the kitchen, I thought of an idea! Hahahaha, I love thinking of such ideas, and when I finally get one really good one, I feel all happy and excited!
This Sunday is Super Smashing Sunday. :D
And Monday will be Magnificently Marvelous Monday!
How cool is that?
Very.
:)
i realise we have quite similarly shaped faces. :)
