Last Sunday, I had a dream come true for me. Literally.

On Saturday night, I dreamt that I fell at the road (I really did once in real life – thank God there were no cars at the moment) and burst into tears.

I told Reid about the dream the next day.

After Harry Potter that day, we made our way to ECP to celebrate his one year old (yes, one!) cousin’s birthday at a seafood restaurant. Yes, you can guess what happened. While walking over to ECP, I tripped over a jagged kerb and scrapped my knee. I teared a little and couldn’t stop laughing. Yes, very weird combination. Hahahaha…

So… My dream came true! :x

finally! getting back on track with my driving. :) lesson tomorrow and then a coupla more lessons and i can go for my test already. but i’m quite scared for tomorrow. ’cause i’ve forgotten how to do my vertical and parallel parking! i tried to look for some videos online to try and refresh my memory but i can’t find anyyyy! i hope my instructor for tomorrow is a kind and patient one.

this very nice instructor i had for a few times actually wrote on the back of my record book the steps to vp and pp but they’re only steps for the steering wheel… :( so when to turn the steering wheel in whichever direction???

i promise… i haven’t forgotten anything else… please just teach me vp and pp again. thanksss!

/edit: ok why didnt i think of it earlier? my ftt book has whatever i want to know!

My internet is screwy.

Keeps disconnecting itself and then i have to sit and stare at my laptop for a million years before being able to connect again… :((((((

If you are a fan of thriller books like i am, then you gotta read Carol Smith. Her books are the kind that keep you at the edge of your seat, with the anxious flipping of pages all you can do.

Sooo trrruuueee.

I’m beginning to be more cautious about the things i eat… ‘Cause really, you never know what really goes inside and its consequences. Nobody lives forever and nobody will stay young forever. You will, in the long run, become what you eat. The key here, i guess, is balance. And labels can lie! They can lie…. Alllll the tiiiime…… But let’s not be overly cautious that we miss out the good stuff in life, eh?

Today, my brother and I accompanied my dad to SGH for his minor operation on his trigger finger. The nurse told us the whole process would take two hours. Guess how long it really took? Five hours. The nurse really knew how to bring up people’s hopes. And 90% of the time was due to waiting.

Feel quite sad for my dad :/ Especially after seeing him walk away in that operating gown. Siiiigggh… Now his hand is thickly bandaged up. Quite saddening to see him like this. :////

Must show more concern…

I’ve been trying to reach Reid since afternoon till now and i only managed to get through to him ONCE! He’s a real busy bee preparing for NATIONAL DAY PARADE.

Hahaha, ok let’s try this.

I want to blog, but I don’t know what to write about. So i did a quick google search and found a website that generates sentences to help with a writer’s flow of creativity.

The first prompt (to interest me) says: “My ten favourite sounds”…

BOOORING. Let’s do “Ten sounds i dread hearing” instead.

1. The cooing of pigeons.

2. The fluttering of wings (be it bird wings, or moth wings, or cockroach wing… *shudder*).

3. The sound of my alarm clock ringing.
Hahaha. Only if I didn’t have anything to look forward to that day.

4. The doorbell ringing when I’m not expecting anyone.
I don’t like opening doors to strangers or people who decide popping by without first giving notice is absolutely acceptable.

5. The tone my phone gives when my battery’s dying.

6. The voices of certain people (who shall remain unnamed).

7. The sounds of things crashing and falling.

That’s all I can think of. I thought of driving and got pretty sad. Because I haven’t had driving lessons for quite some time. Due to various “complications” I do not wish to talk about. I just want to get back on track ASAP and get my license soon. Please. Thanks.

Home from a very hearty dinner. And with great company, no less. :) My relatives from Australia, who haven’t been back for two and a half years came back last week and we’ve been meeting up with them these few days.

While, as usual, a little bit of warm up was needed, the real fun begun after that. I’m really quite tickled by their antics and the stories they tell us.

Some photos!

It was great while it lasted… And I wonder when we’ll get to see them again…
