Last Sunday at Sitex, I got my first ever Blackberry! All thanks to Reid, who was entitled to get the new BB curve 8520 for free if he renewed his contract. So he did – to a less expensive plan – and gave me the phone!!! We’ve both wanted a BB for the longest time and he actually gave it to me as a gift! I really couldn’t believe I could finally own a BB. I did feel slightly unrest because he was giving up something he could have for himself. But he assured me he wanted a Bold and not a curve as the latter is too small for him. After confirming with him several times and successfully exasperating him, I accepted the gift with open arms. I was happy for two things: That I had a new phone (and a BB at that!) and the demonstration of <3 through the gift. Although it didn’t cost him anything, he chose to gave something he knows I’ve always wanted which he could also have kept for himself (as it is technically his), to me. That made me the happiest. I guess you could call that putting others before oneself. :)

All in all, it was a good day for ‘everyone’ (Reid’s parents, Reid and me). Reid got a data plan and a ONE TETRABYTE (!) hard drive, Reid’s dad got a PSP (yes! a PSP! :D) and I got my MBP a laptop cooler pad ’cause it tends to heat up really fast when I put it on the bed due to the lack of ventilation.

And here’s a picture of what I made for lunch yesterday! I assure you, it tastes as good as it looks. Haha!

Linguine and tomato paste, scrambled eggs, cabbage and carrots and fried sutchi fillet with very delicious seasoning.

If you don’t believe me when I say it was nice, then at least trust the words of the son of an ex-chef who used to work in Holland in his younger days. The son being Reid. Hahahaha… Yes, his father used to work in Holland as a chef and I’ve eaten his home cooked food – which tastes very nice and homely! And I’ve always thought that in some aspects, Reid’s father is an example many man ought to learn from. He helps with the household chores and does the cooking for the family whenever he can. I respect men like this – they believe that men and women have an equal responsibility of taking care of the family and are willing to contribute. Basically, they’re not MCPs.

So anyway! If you have a BB too and wanna add me on BBM, ask me for my pin! Only if you’re already my friend though. And through sms. If you don’t have my mobile phone number, then you’re probably not much of a friend.

Ok! That’s all. The sky is dark and the rain is pouring. Grrreat! :)

Great day today. Went to Ikea. Queued up for their sacred hotdogs and with our tummies filled, went off in search for Reid’s dream bed. Many things caught my eyes along the way and we ended up spending more than three hours in that building. We went there mainly for him but I was the one who left with stuff. :P

Today was really fun although our day started out slightly late. But it was good nonetheless. We talked about when “before we become a couple” over steamboat and had some good laughs. :)

Now it’s time to sleep. It’s almost 0430 and I am so zonked out.

Yes. A decision, not decisions.

Anyway, had lunch at Popeye’s with Reid and his mum after they sent his brother off to a 2 year training trip yesterday. Is it just me or does the chicken at T1 taste different from T3′s? I prefer T3′s atmosphere though. Heh. So after our yummilicious lunch, we went our separate ways. Reid and I headed to Iluma for some fun. Played a little at their arcade (the only arcade i like!) and caught A Christmas Carol. I give it 2 out of 5 popcorns. Maybe even 1.5. Not worth the $8.50. Story SUPER predictable. Right from the start, I knew it was going to be about how a grumpy, stingy, mean old man changes into a loving, generous and cheery old man. And the concept of “ghosts of the past and future” is sooo been-there-done-that. But the graphics are good. And it’s still a heartwarming Christmas story – but only towards the end.

Today’s a nice warmish public holiday. Not that it makes a difference to me since I’m having my holidays. I’m still feeling slightly tired from sleeping in the wee hours of the morning but I’m not gonna waste my day away by going back to sleep. And it’s too noisy to sleep anyway ’cause my brother is playing some guitar app. game on FB. Lol. Ok it’s not really that noisy actually. Anddd I’m still waiting for Reid to wake up and call me so we can plan our day. Poor him has to work weird hours all the time for his business, leaving him with either little sleep or sleeping at odd hours.

I’m thinking of having homemade steamboat tonight! The thought of it makes me drool. Cheap and comfy. I’ve already got tom yam soup paste, just gotta get the ingredients!

Okay, time to bathe and get on with the day.

I wanna create a scrapbook for Reid and me. Something like the one from UP movie that the old couple Ellie and Carl had. By the way, their life story in the beginning of the movie was so touching it made me tear. Watch the movie if you haven’t! Holidays are the time for me to do all these things that I won’t have time to do when school starts! And it’s only about a month till school starts again. Eeeps. Time passes toooo quickly!

First blogshop purchase arrived today! Shoes are very comfy and a perfect fit. :) Just ordered another dress and looking for a bag now. OH NOOO. I’m getting addicted. :\ To think I was so apprehensive in the past! Now I understand how people get addicted to online shopping. Hassle free, can shop in the comfort of your home and the best part, the anticipation of waiting for your goods to arrive! Imma happy girl tonight. :)

Ok, that’s it, time to crash. My eyelids feel sooper heavy. I blame this lethargy on that monthly womanly thing. Really, it’s been a pretty “bad” two days so far. The pain and lethargy… They just keep hanging around!

Sigh! Going to sleep everything off. Tomorrow’s gonna be a better day!

I’m know I’m really really slow, but I made my first blogshop purchase this afternoon. Of a pair of nude beige wedges!

Simple, yet classic. Nude beige to visually lengthen legs and slight wedge to add to overall height. Perfect! Haha. I hope the shoes fit me. :| That’s the risky thing about buying clothes and shoes online. You never know if they will be a perfect fit ’cause you can’t feel nor try them.

Feeling very tired, I’m gonna crash any moment.

Very excited – went to get more materials for more earring designs yesterday and when I reached home after cg, I quickly went to work. Made my third pair of earrings last night and I like them a lot! Here’s a sneak peak!
